Sri Venugopalaswamy which was formerly called Sri Devaraja Perumal temple is located in Chenneri village. The ancient temple was renovated some years back and having a good look. The presiding deity is enshrined in Ananda Vimanam with Sridevi and Bhoodevi. The temple follows Vaikanasa agama rituals. Daily pujas are done by Sri Ramu Bhattar-9790422870. A stone temple of several hundred years old in Nellikuppam is the abode of Sri Adhikesava Perumal. In sactum sanctorum the Perumal in standing posture is giving darshan along with Sridevi and Bhoodevi. In the prakaram Sri Ambujavalli Thayar is enshrined in a separate structure. Sri Desikar, Sri Chakrathazhvar, Sri Anjaneyar are other shrines in the temple. The sacred pond of the temple is called Omavalli theertham. Daily one time pujas are performed. The abode of Sri Venugopalaswamy is situated few meters away from Nellikuppam village. This place is called Agaram. Sri venugopalaswamy is enshrined with Sri Bhama and Sri Radha. The temple is in ruins and thick vegetation are spread over the temple structure. The vimana of the temple is totally ruined. However daily pujas are going on here. The abode of Sri Lakshminarayana perumal is in Sirukundram village, near Thiruporur of Kanchipuram district. In sanctum sanctorum the moolavar is giving darsham with Sri Lakshmidevi on his lap. Sri Ramanujar, Sri Nammazhvar, Sri Thirumangai Azhvar and Sri Viswaksenar are also housed in the temple. The Sivan temple and this temple are very ancient and belong to same period of construction. Sri Lajkshminarayana Perumal temple is located in Arunkundram village, about 13 KM from Thiruporur. The temple was recently renovated and well maintained. The presiding deity Sri Lakshminarayana Perumal is keeping Sri Lakshmidevi on his lap. The stone temple has many inscriptions and it reveals various donations to the temple in the past. In Manampathy village, there is one ancient Perumal temple is located. Perumal is called Sri Vaikundavasa Perumal with Sridevi and Bhoodevi. Seperate Thayar shrine is in the prakaram. Sri Vaikunda Perumal temple is situated in Amoor village, about 8 KM from Thiruporur. Moolavar Perumal is giving darshan with Sridevi and Bhoodevi in standing posture. Sri Garudazhvar is seated in front of Perumal shrine. No other deities are in the temple. Daily pujas are conducted. The village Payyanur has the distinction at having both ancient Siva and Perumal temples. The Perumal temple could have been built in the year 773 AD by Vijayanandhi Vikrama Pallavan. But the entire granite temple was nowhere except few scattered idols and stones. However the temple was renovated and consecration took place in the year 1982. The presiding deity Sri Karunakara Perumal in standing posture was taken out from the temple tank. He graces the devotees with Sridevi and Bhoodevi in sanctum sanctorum. Perumal appeared in the dream of a Zamindar of this place and instructed him to take him out from the tank and built a temple. The Zamindar immediately obeyed the divine order and built this temple. The rituals are performed here as per Vaikanasa Agama. There is separate shrine for Sri Anjaneyar. Broken idols of Perumal and Narasimmar can be seen lying outside the temple. The temple tank occupies between Perumal and Sivan temples. Pillai and Iluppai are the sacred trees of this temple. The temple is open from 6 to 12 in the morning and 4 to 7.30 in the evening. An ancient Perumal temple is located in T Acharavakkam village, about 9 KM from Thiruporur. Sri Kariyamanicka Perumal with Sridevi and Bhudevi is enshrined in sanctum. There are also shrines for seven Azhvars in the ardha mandapam. In front of the temple there is a Garuda mandapam, where Sri Garudazhvar is enshrined. Daily pujas are performed here once in a day. Sri Adhikesava Perumal temple is situated in Illalur village, about 6 KM from Thiruporur. Moolavar Sri Adhikesava Perumal is enshrined with Sri Amirthavalli Thayar. He is holding prayoga chakra in his hand. Jayan and Vijayan, two dwarabalars are at the entrance of the sanctum. The temple is following vaikanasa agama. Sri Anjaneyar is enshrined in a separate enclosure. Other deities are Sri Andal, Sri Udayavar, Sri Nammazhvar, Sri Visvaksenar, and Chakrathzhvar. In the northern side of the temple there is a beautiful tank. Daily one time pujas are performed here by Sri Rengaraja Bhattar-8939945775. In Pudupakkam village, Sri Karunakaralakshmi Narayana Perumal temple is situated. The Lord is gracing the devotees in standing posture with Sridevi and Bhoodevi. The temple was renovated some years back and presenting a new look. The temple was built by a Pandiya king. Shrines like Vinayagar, Murugan, 12 Aazhvars, Visvaksenar, Ramanujar, panchamuka Anjaneyar and Shridi Baba are housed in the temple. Thiruvidanthai Nithyakalyana Perumal used visit here every year on the next day of Pongal. Daily one time puja is performed here. This temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is located in Siruseri village, about 8 KM from Kelampakkam. Perumal is called Sri Neelamanicka Perumal giving darshan in sanding posture with Sridevi and Bhoodevi. In the prakaram, there is a separate shrine for Sri Hayagreevar. Garudaazhvar is located in a separate mandap and Sri Desikar has a separate sannadhi. This temple is renovated and maintained by Sri Sundararaajan(9952999694) and Sri Sriram(9841046408). One time puja is conducted regularly.



An ancient Siva temple is also located in this place. The old temple was completely ruined and presently the Sivalinga is sheltered in a small shed. The Sivalingam looks like a suyambu on a square avudayar. Ambal idol is positioned near the Sivalingam. A Nandhi idol is also there. Sri Chandikeswarar is found outside the temple. A beautiful temple pond is also there.




A famous Perumal temple is at Kolathur village, just 2 KM from Mambakkam koot road on Vandalur Kelambakkam road. Here Sri Kalyana Ranganathar graces the devotees in a standing posture. Sri Andal is enshrined near Sri Rananathar in sanctum sanctorum. Sri Ranganayagi Thayar is enshrined in a separate shrine in the prakaram. Nammazhvar, Udayavar, Desikar, Anjaneyar and Garudan are also present in the temple complex. A big rajagopuram is at the entrance of the temple. Behind the temple there is a sacred pond. Daily two time pujas are conducted as per vaikanasa agama. This temple is a favorite one for Thiruvidandhai temple. The temple is open 7 to 9 in the morning and 5.30 to 6.30 in the evening. This Perumal temple is at Mambakkam on Kelambakkam Vandalur road. Perumal is called Sri Kariya Manicka Perumal in a standing posture.
